Director / Assistant Director (Policy and Economic Analysis)

We are looking for people who have the ability to lead studies into various industries in depth, provide rigorous analysis on business practices, conduct business investigations and submit reports and recommendations on the competititve impact of business practices to the Commission.  Leadership qualities, industry knowledge and experience, an ability to research and understand business practices, written and oral communication skills will be important. 

Requirements:

• At least a 2nd Upper Class Honours degree from a reputable university.  An MBA will be an added advantage.
• Relevant  working experience in related fields such as business analysis, finance or consultancy
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership ability and teamwork

Senior Assistant Director / Assistant Director (Enforcement)

Reporting to the Director of Legal & Enforcement, you will be conducting research as well as field and other investigations to assist in the Commission's effective implementation and enforcement of the Competition Act.  You will work closely with the legal counsels and competiton analysts as well as other sectoral agencies or overseas competition authorities.

Requirements:

• Good degree in any discipline, preferably Accounting, Economics, Law or Business Administration
• Working experience in investigation/enforcement work
• Analytical, independent and self-motivated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
