1. The Applicants
This notification is made jointly by (1) CommScope, Inc. of North Carolina ("CommScope") and (2) Argus Technologies (Australia) Pty Limited and (3) Argus Technologies (International) Limited and their respective subsidiaries (together "Argus") (collectively the "Parties").

2. Description of the merger
CommScope proposes to acquire the entire issued share capital of Argus ("the Acquisition"). The Parties submit that given the intense nature of competition in the market, the strength of existing competitors, strong countervailing buyer power of customers and the use of competitive tendering processes, and other competitive characteristics of the relevant markets, the notified Acquisition will not result in a substantial lessening of competition.

3. Relevant good(s) or service(s) involved
The supply of base station antennas for wireless networks.

Decision:

The proposed merger, if carried into effect, will not infringe the section 54 prohibition.
