Asean Workshop on Big Data

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) hosted an ASEAN Workshop on Big Data and Competition Law on 6 and 7 August 2018. The two-day workshop was jointly organised by CCCS and Indonesia’s Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU), and supported by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF). The aim of the workshop was to provide guidance to competition authorities in ASEAN Member States on how to better respond to antitrust challenges arising from the use of big data and algorithms.
