CCS at the 2026 National Fair Competition Conference of China

A CCS delegation, led by Mr. Alvin Koh, Chief Executive of CCS, attended the 2026 National Fair Competition Conference of China held in Xi'an, China on 7 to 8 September 2026. On the first day of the conference, Mr. Alvin Koh delivered a keynote speech on Singapore's experience in competition policy.‌

CCS shared recent developments in Singapore’s competition regime, including its enforcement and merger review work, updates to its competition procedures and guidance, and efforts to promote competition across government. CCS also highlighted its international cooperation efforts, including the ASEAN Study on the Impact of AI towards Market Competition & Consumers, which CCS is leading, as well as its longstanding cooperation with China’s State Administration for Market Regulation.
