CCS attends ICN Merger Workshop on Investigative Techniques, Washington DC

The ICN Merger Working Group Workshop was held in Washington DC from 15 – 16 February 2017. It was a workshop for officers across 45 jurisdictions coming together to share on the best practices and techniques while assessing a merger. Throughout the event, the attendees analysed a hypothetical merger case set up by the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Of which, the attendees underwent the processes of drafting an investigative plan, interviewing hypothetical key personnel and proposing remedies in relation to the merger.
