Panel 5 – Compliance and enforcement within Singapore and across jurisdictional boundaries

Summary: This session provides an inside view on how enforcers in various jurisdictions, including Singapore consider competition issues and how companies can navigate their way through different jurisdictional competition rules and design their corporate compliance. Given the action of global companies’ can have a multijurisdictional impact, the session also discusses how enforcers work together and also tap on other forms of cooperation between them to address cross border competition issues. 

The session will also cover the latest competition law developments in Singapore that companies and practitioners should be aware of, including CCS’s revised Guidelines (December 2016).
