Mr. Herbert Fung, Director (Business & Economics), was invited to speak on behalf of CCS at the Freshfields / Allen & Gledhill Roundtable: Navigating Merger Control Hurdles in Asia on 19 September. The panel also comprised Thomas Janssens, Ninette Dodoo and Alastair Mordaunt, heads of Freshfield’s global, China and Hong Kong competition practices respectively, as well as Daren Shiau, Head of Competition & Antitrust Practice of Allen & Gledhill in Singapore. The panel discussed cross-jurisdictional merger filings, approach to merger remedies, as well as public interest and foreign investment considerations in merger reviews. The event was attended by representatives from local and multinational companies based in Singapore.
