Visit by Chinese Delegation on Competition Law

On 25 August 2026, the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS) hosted a 14-member delegation from China’s Research Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), various provincial government research offices, and academic institutions. 

During the visit, CCS shared with the delegation Singapore’s competition law framework and enforcement mechanisms, as well as the role of government advocacy and partnerships in fostering a competitive market environment. Both sides also exchanged views and experiences on competition law enforcement and other relevant matters in their respective jurisdictions.
