Competition and Consumer Regulators Community

The Competition and Consumer Regulators Community (C2RC) is an inter-agency platform for government agencies to share best practices, discuss market developments, and enhance regulatory frameworks to shape well-functioning markets in Singapore.

Previously known as the Community of Practice for Competition and Economic Regulations (“COPCOMER”) that was established in 2013, C2RC serves as the inter-agency platform for government agencies to learn about latest market developments and share best practices and experiences on competition, consumer protection and regulatory issues. C2RC encourages the adoption of harmonised and effective competition, consumer protection and regulatory policies based on the shared best practices and experiences. 

C2RC facilitates regular activities, which include: 

Masterclass – An annual flagship event to equip Singapore public officers with knowledge and practical tools to address on competition and consumer protection issues

Regulators’ Tea – Brings together high-level representatives from C2RC agencies to discuss latest or emerging competition, consumer protection and regulatory issues facing Singapore

Seminars – For agencies to share their experiences on competition and consumer protection and regulatory issues happening in Singapore. 

Past activities have gathered the support and participation of officers across the government, especially from the following agencies:

2.    Civil Service College (CSC)

3.    Energy Market Authority (EMA)

4.    Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA)
